The Skyhawks play three singles games before triumphing in doubles
BABSON Park, MA (September 18, 2022) – The Stonehill College women’s tennis team ended their weekend at the Wellesley Invitational with four more wins on Sunday.
Stonehill started the day with three singles wins, starting freshman Annaliese Beltran Mount Isabella DeAgazio from Wellesley, 6-4, 6-3. second grader Gabrielle Lindsay and Marissa Such both defeated Merrimack College’s Ashley Stefanik with nearly identical results. Lindsay achieved a 6-2, 6-0 win while Such won 6-2, 6-1.
Stonehill added a one-two before the weekend ended as Lindsay and Junior Lindsey McDonald defeated the Merrimack pairing of Stefanik and Luisa Eslava.
