Vosker’s V300 Security Camera offers remote surveillance solutions anywhere wi-fi and power are restricted

Summer is slowly coming to an end, which for many means the off-season for hut visitors. Even those with year-round cabins and property may not be able to continuously make up for the trip. The desire to keep an eye on remote places has never been stronger. voskers Surveillance camera V300 allows users to monitor these areas even under WiFi and power restrictions.

Vosker has evolved and improved its range of security cameras over the years. Alongside the V150 and V200, Vosker’s V300 enters the fold. The new V300 camera offers improved coverage and options so you can keep a close eye on your property no matter what the restrictions. The V300 is an easy to set up security camera that offers cellular connectivity and is powered by solar power. Also, Vosker is introducing a new Live View mode that supports full HD video recording to the Vosker Cloud.

The Vosker V300’s single-bolt installation easily mounts to a frame or bracket and can be oriented in any direction. It offers a 90-degree field of view thanks to its ultra-wide-angle lens. This can be used for automatic video recording on detection, photo alerts and the new live view mode. The camera offers motion detection for up to 100 feet away. In addition, the same range is supported via night vision mode.

Knowing this, you can use your imagination on how you want to use it. While the Vosker 300 is prepared for monitoring your holiday home, it can also be used to monitor construction sites, farms and other locations. With secure camera surveillance, you can keep an eye on inclement weather while you’re away. Even if your property is being renovated while you’re away, you can keep a close eye on the progress.

Whether you’re monitoring a construction site, cabin, or remote property, the V300 offers Full HD photos and video recording, stored locally on the included 16GB microSD card. Note, however, that up to 32GB of expandable storage can be used. When motion is detected, the camera records a 10-second clip. If recognition continues, another clip will be recorded. Audio is also recorded so you can better understand what triggered the camera.

For example, you can see or hear if an animal has managed to enter your boathouse and take appropriate action. The maximum streaming quality to the Vosker app is 1080p @15fps and 960 bitrates. When you access the app, you will find a 640 x 360 pixel JPG preview photo. Users can then choose to view a video clip based on the event captured. Vosker’s app is supported on iOS and Android.

There is currently a limited range of security cameras on the market that offer cellular connectivity. The Vosker V300 runs exclusively on 4G LTE connectivity available through Vosker Monthly or yearly plans. Rather than having to rely on regional telecom services, Vosker offers connectivity through its plan and an included SIM card. Monthly plans start at $10.

However, the $20 monthly Elite plan gives access to 2,000 photo alarms, 60 days of history, and 40 HD video downloads. Note that the annual subscription saves 10 percent for subscribers. Finally, a one-time payment of $20 unlocks 40 minutes of 1080p live streaming through the mobile app. The live streaming package can be shared with all active V300 cameras in the account. With a subscription to the Elite plan, you have more than enough access to video and photo notifications.

The V300 is powered by a rechargeable 14,000 mAh battery. Fortunately, you can remove the battery from the device and charge it via USB-C. In addition, the camera has a built-in solar panel. When power is a concern, Vosker publishes a Solar power bank. The power bank offers a 15,000mAh capacity and offers an IP66 rating, perfect for surviving rain, snow, dust, etc. Despite its size, the device is quite nicely built. It’s weather resistant so you don’t have to worry about protecting it from rain or Canadian winters. The V300 can keep running at -30 degrees in winter and 50 degrees in summer (fingers crossed we never get to that point.)

The V300 offers a variety of benefits when it comes to remote security. You now have the ability to monitor your property even under WiFi and power restrictions. The V300 is built to withstand the Canadian season while providing flexible solutions for users of all types.

Note Vosker’s V300 is currently only available in limited quantities in the United States and will be available soon in Canada.
