You’ve seen the amazing covers. Now get ready for the creative team behind it dynamite is Darkwing duck Series.
Amanda Deibert will write the series and brings a diverse background in television, animation and comics, including Netflix He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Wonder Woman, Star Wars, DC Super Hero Girlsand more.
“Darkwing duck was huge when I was a kid and I’m thrilled to help bring the fun, humor and action-packed mystery to a new generation!” said Debbert. “Let’s get dangerous!”
Deibert is accompanied by an Italian artist Carlo Cid Lauroa member of Mirka Andolfos celebrated Arancia Studio. Lauro will color the series himself, with Jeff Eckleberry on letters.

The first story, subtitled FOWL Play, initiates a showdown between Darkwing and his insidious nemesis, Megavolt. He stole all the phones, which is a pretty disastrous result for the citizens of St. Canard. Along with his ally Launchpad McQuack and some unexpected help from Gosalyn, the squad will take on Megavolt. But the latest escapade has Mallard questioning the entire superhero business and considering retiring. How long can he go without justice?”
Darkwing duck #1 will include stunning covers for collectors and fans of artists David Nakayama, Mirka Andolfo, Lesley “Leirix” Li, Jacob Edgar, and Trish Forstner. Georg Kambadais checks in to illustrate Dynamite’s hit gargoyle Title to contribute to his companion and Lauro designs a cover to match his interior in the series.
