Telecom Fiji To Develop TSLS Mobile App

Students looking for information about the Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Service (TSLS) will soon be able to access it online via an app.

The TSLS mobile app will be developed shortly following a commercial agreement signed between TSLS and app developers Telecom Fiji Limited (TFL) last Thursday at TFL headquarters in Suva.

The app will be another source of online information available to TSLS sponsored and funded students. At the signing, TSLS Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Hasmukh Lal said the application would provide real-time information on the student’s sponsorship and funding.

The features of the application allow you to:

  • Students can create an account and log into their accounts;
  • Track the processing status of allowances;
  • View account details, download account statements in PDF format;
  • Change of account details such as e-ticket, bank accounts, address, etc.;
  • Receive email alerts from TSLS.

“The mobile application will be compatible with both Google Play and Apple,” he said.

Mr. Lal also said that TSLS has launched its revised strategic plan and ICT transformation is one of the strategic focus areas.

“TSLS has increased its service delivery on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok, LinkedIn, Viber Community and will later integrate the existing live chat. We want to be where our customers are,” said Mr. Lal.

TFL CEO Charles Goundar said it is focusing on app development to complement its range of ICT products and solutions.
