BENGALURU: Recently, organizations have been showing great interest in information security, while ManageEngine, the enterprise IT management division of Zoho Corporation, found that 91% of respondents agreed that artificial intelligence (AI) and Machine learning (ML) will play an important role. Shailesh Davey, co-founder and vice president of engineering at Zoho, said the company has received many inquiries about cyber security. IT at Work: 2022 and Beyond study surveyed 3,300 decision makers across IT and other key business functions in organizations across 18 countries, including India. According to the study, 98% of all business decision makers invest in AI and ML and are doing so for more than one use case on average. Automation was the most common use case with 64%, followed by cyber attacks at 59%.
Of the ITDMs surveyed (IT decision makers), 85% agree that the organization’s existing security aspects need to be changed to ensure protection against cyber attacks. “Our main objective with this study is to shed light on the current state of ITDMs and the need for democracy and IT empowerment for today’s highly specialized organizations,” Davey said.
