OnePlus has officially confirmed that we will see Nord Watch soon. We’ve already seen leaked images of the device. Here’s a look at the details.
Just over a month ago, screenshots from the Health app revealed our first look at the upcoming device. There was also a leak on possible color options and features.
The Health app screenshots were shared on Twitter by tipster Mukul Sharma of StuffListings. OnePlus Nord Watch will apparently come to India first.
The images show something that is rectangular in shape, it has the typical health sensors, including SpO2 and custom watch face support. The device will have a special app called N Health, which is where these screenshots come from.
Nord Watch appears to have a sturdy build and there is a metal frame around the edges. A single crown button can be seen on the right side to aid in navigating the watch menus. It looks like Nord Watch is running an optimized, proprietary RTOS operating system instead of Google WearOS.

Mukul Sharma followed up the original tweet with another stating that OnePlus Nord Watch will come in black and white options. He also adds that this will be a fitness-focused watch for the budget conscious and that it will have a decent battery.
Finally, another tweet was shared by mukul Early September, which shows the clock in all its glory. The watch is attractive and somewhat reminiscent of the Amazfit GTS range.
OnePlus already has a Nord range. The only quality they share is that they are affordable. The pictures above do not suggest otherwise.
These leaks follow regulatory certification
These leaks follow a regulatory certification of the device that was filed in July. It comes from BIS, the National Standards Body of India. The papers relate to a smartwatch going by the name OnePlus Nord with a corresponding model number “OPBBE221”.
After that, a Bluetooth SIG certification was spotted. This happened on August 29th. It bears the same nickname as the Indian listing.
Official confirmation from OnePlus
In the last few days, OnePlus has confirmed several times that Nord Watch will arrive in India in the near future. The latest teaser comes on Twitter. In a way, this is confirmation that the image above is correct – the tweet shows a watch with a square face and curved edges.
The company also has a dedicated page for the Nord Watch on its website. September 28th is mentioned on the website, so that could be the day when the device will be made official.
This isn’t the only wearable OnePlus expected to launch later this year or early 2023. We recently wrote about Watch 2 and Band 2. Both are expected to appear in the coming months. These are updated versions of the first generation products that were introduced last year.
The clock in particular needs improvement as the original device was plagued with issues. OnePlus Band, on the other hand, was a more solid effort. Again, we don’t have details on possible specs, but will report if and when we hear more.
