Just in case the RTX 4090 isn’t enough, Nvidia may be quietly preparing a much bigger and more powerful Titan.
We’ve been speculating for a long time about the possibility of Nvidia bringing back a Titan card, and it seems like there’s more to it than just rumors, as engineering samples actually exist. Leaked GPU images tell us a lot. But can Nvidia actually release a GPU?

These rumors are pretty wild, but they certainly have some credibility, as they come from frequent leakers who say Moore’s Law is dead. A YouTuber shared a picture of a card he received from an anonymous source. The card showcases an engineering sample of the rumored Nvidia Titan Ada Lovelace GPU. I haven’t seen a Titan card in quite some time, but I know that Nvidia still hasn’t exploited the full potential of the AD102 die, so it was never out of the realm of possibility.
According to Moore’s Law Is Dead, there’s a finished prototype labeled “Titan” that Nvidia has been working on for a long time. While the photo he shared was heavily edited, the YouTuber also shared some renderings from the GPU, showing it in its full glory.
Nvidia’s Titan is a massive GPU that takes up four slots, though it retains a shroud similar to the old card in a black and gold mix. It comes with dual 16-pin power connectors, but as Moore’s Law explains, this doesn’t necessarily mean that Nvidia plans to release a GPU that draws 1,200 watts of power. A Titan GPU would certainly be crazy, but it’s close to crazy. Instead, the YouTuber expects the GPU to oscillate in the 550-650 watt range, and the overclocked variant pushes that limit a little higher.
If some of the previous rumors about the GPU are true, Nvidia could base this model on the AD102-450 die, featuring 18,176 CUDA cores and a whopping 48GB of GDDR6X memory. Moore’s Law is Dead It also says that the card comes with 24Gbps memory modules, allowing for a 14% increase in bandwidth when compared to the RTX 4090.

Now, will Nvidia actually release a Titan Ada GPU, assuming the MLID is correct and the card exists? It could be, but it doesn’t have to be now. Nvidia has no contenders when it comes to the #1 spot on our list of best graphics cards. Instead, AMD’s RX 7900 XTX competes against the RTX 4080, and until AMD releases something that can challenge the RTX 4090, Nvidia won’t have to worry about whether it can satisfy the high-end segment of the market.
When these GPUs come out, they will be expensive. Depending on the final spec, it could be anywhere from $2,000 to $3,000. Since it’s a quad-slot card, it requires a massive case and a lot of cooling.
