As part of its nationwide raids, the National Investigation Agency raided the Popular Front of India (PFI) office in Lilong Keithel in Thoubal district of Manipur on Thursday.

Police and the Central Reserve Police Force assisted the NIA team in the raid, which began at 2 a.m. and ended at 10:30 a.m.
Sources said sniffer dogs led by NIA Deputy Chief of Police JS Rautela had seized two mobile phones, four seals used by public officials, resolutions from PFI meetings, Aadhaar card copies of the PFI State President and Secretary General, bank savings accounts of the Group, a laptop, photos of a meeting organized in July, a copy of the association’s balance sheet, press releases on the victory over the BJP and evictions in Assam, a list of donors to the association’s 2018-19 Educare Fund, photocopies of the PFI constitution and a magazine called Issue and Views, among others.
