Logitech just got more serious when it comes to simulation driving with what buyers might call a “Pro” wheel given its price. The new Logitech G Pro direct-drive racing wheel has dropped at a rather steep price of $999.
Logitech announces new road bike and pedal
To put things in perspective, the new racing wheel basically costs more than a new PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X. The new accessory is strictly just the racing wheel, and if buyers also want the pedal set, they’ll have to pay extra.
According to the Windows Central story, Logitech G has just announced the launch of an accessory designed for professional sim racing. The new G Pro steering wheel is expected to feature a high-end direct drive motor, as well as other features like Trueforce feedback motor assistance.
How the racing wheel and pedal provide a deeper experience
With the support of the Trueforce feedback engine, users can experience an incredibly responsive and “intense simulation driving experience”. Alongside the wheel, Logitech will also be releasing the G Pro pedals, which are designed as a companion set and feature a modular design all their own.
Players also get a customizable layout to allow for the complete removal of certain individual pedals to experience semi-automatic racing. To make the simulation even more realistic, the braking function will include a load cell sensor rated for a force of up to 100 kg.

The high-end pedals have consistency as their number one goal. The Hall Effect sensors on the clutch and throttle are designed to last a lifetime.
Logitech released a clip Twitter shows both the Pro Wheel and the Pro Pedals. The video compares the experience to actual driving in real life to bring a deeper racing experience to driving simulation fans.

Logitech G Pro road bike, pedal and seat
The Logitech G Pro road bike will retail at an MSRP of $999, while the pedal will cost buyers $349. Both racing devices will reportedly be sold through the company’s official website and have no plans to replace other sim racing accessories within the lineup.
At launch, the site showed a 404 error, but staff announced availability would begin before the end of September. There was also an announcement of a collaboration with Playseat, which would launch a trophy sim cockpit alongside the G Pro brand.
For those wanting the full sim racing experience, the seat will come close to the standard Trophy model, costing buyers $599. Windows Central’s article said they were sent racing wheels and pedals to test.
