Michael Flynn, the National Security Adviser under former President Donald Trump, claimed that people are trying to alter people’s DNA as a step towards “transhumanism.”
When appearing on the Thrivetime Show: The ReAwakening versus The Great Reset Podcast on Tuesday, Flynn discussed a new executive order “Advancing Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing Innovation for a Sustainable, Safe and Secure American Bioeconomy,” signed into law by President Joe Biden last week.
After reading a brief summary of the executive order, Flynn and the hosts concluded that it supports transhumanism. According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, transhumanism is the social and philosophical movement dedicated to promoting the research and development of robust technologies for human enhancement.
Such technologies could augment or enhance human sensory perception, emotional ability, or cognitive capacity, as well as radically improve human health and extend human lifespan.

However, the notion of transhumanism is not mentioned in the executive order signed by Biden.
Flynn’s video clip discussing this has had more so far than 550,000 views on Twitter since posting late Tuesday.
“They’re trying to change the essence of our DNA and there are people working on it, this is one of them, [Israeli public intellectual] Yuval Noah Harari,” Flynn said. “It just won’t work, so what are they doing? They’re basically going to put components of robotics inside us. That’s one of the problems they’re dealing with.”
Flynn clarified that these individuals supposedly preparing to create transhumanistic humans are distinct from those using robotics to replace lost limbs.
“You see the robotic arms that can help someone, or robotic legs that can help someone who has lost their legs or their arm’s movement,” he said. “Being able to do things and have a normal life, but that’s different than what these guys are trying to do.
“They’re actually trying to change their insides, the insides of something that’s unchanging, immovable, immovable, because they were designed by someone other than them. Thank God God designed us the way we are,” he said.

Earlier this July, right-wing conspiracy theorist and InfoWars host Alex Jones made a similar claim and was just as vague on the details of this alleged plan. The clip also went viral on social media.
In the clip, Jones also called for independence from artificial intelligence computers, aliens, and Satan.
“I declare this July 4, 2022 a Declaration of Independence against the extraterrestrial force on this planet today,” Jones said. “[Aliens] wage war on humans and their biology and our future. This is an attempt to exterminate the majority of us and force the remaining minority to merge with AI computers and become cyborg slaves to Satan.”
According to a late 2020 Anti-Defamation League (ADL) report, Jones and Flynn’s comments are consistent with the Great Reset conspiracy theory. The conspiracy has gained traction following the spread of COVID-19 and the global rollout of the vaccine.
It warns that the “global elite” will use the pandemic to advance their interests and advance a globalist conspiracy to destroy American sovereignty and prosperity, according to the ADL report.
The report also noted that a cult of those who believe in this conspiracy theory also fear a transhuman project “in which humans will be fused with machines and forced to submit to elites.”
