There are many enjoyable hours to be spent at Southport Sharks including dining at one of their delicious full meal restaurants, having a drink at the Aviary Rooftop Bar with views of the city, attending one of their classes at the Health + Fitness Center or attending activities one of their many good times events. The possibilities are endless. It’s the perfect place for a family event or take the crew for a Sunday afternoon session. Happy days no matter what.

Southport Yacht Club
Dining by the water is the name of the game at Southport Yacht Club, with two venues to choose from and stunning scenes to choose from. You can also just sit back and put your feet up with a cold drink or two while gazing fondly at one of the many beautiful yachts in the marina. It’s one of the best spots on the coast and you’re guaranteed to have a good time.

Zero Latency is an unparalleled free-roam virtual reality experience. Panezski distillery
The coast’s first vodka distillery opened in Southport a few months ago and what a treat. The family business conjures up three styles of vodka, two styles of gin, and even a few beers on-site, and you can pop in for a bottle to go, or you can sit and enjoy a cocktail and sausage, hop in, and spend some time . Very cool.

Vinnie’s diving
Who doesn’t love a good pub. Especially one that doubles as a live music venue and has a huge selection of your favorite beers (and some you may not have heard of). Head in there to discover new music from local and international bands, and if you’re in the mood for a party we know you’re having, you can rent the space for your next one.

Mr. PP’s Deli & Rooftop Bar
On the ground floor of the building you will find the delicatessen area with a selection of delicious meats and cheeses put together in platters for your feast. Upstairs, the rooftop bar offers delicious cocktails, even more delicious food and views over the city. It’s a really good time.

Randy Wallhole
To put it bluntly, you haven’t lived until you’ve tried a Randy Wallhole bagel. There are eight flavors to choose from, meaning you can have several a day if you so choose. Go to the Pulled Bas first, it has Smokey BBQ Pulled Beef, Peri Mayo and Apple Salad. Wash it down with one of the coast’s best coffees and be on your way.

Boudoir lounge
A newcomer to the Southport group, the Boudoir Lounge is the best spot for a delicious brunch with the girls or just a few cocktails after work. Found on Como Crescent, it quickly became the go-to destination for those looking for delicious food, in a cute setting and of course with unique sips. Inside there is also a hair and beauty bar so you can dress up fabulous before heading into town. Perfect.

Broadwater Parklands
Whether you’re four or 40, thereThere’s loads of fun to be had at Broadwater Parklands. For starters, you can sit and stare at the yachts that you will never set foot on. Then there’s the bouncy cushion (maybe not without a kid), a kids’ train, a water playground, and weekly events ranging from theater performances to foodie markets. Look fun.

D point ten
Oh donuts how we love you. Located on Stevens Street, D Point Ten, in keeping with the general donut vibe, is a small hole in the wall pumping out the freshest donuts we’ve ever excitedly crammed into our greedy mouths. No less in the finest flavors. Definitely go to the Ferrero Rocher.

cardamom pod
The delightful folks at Cardamon Pod serve delicious dishes with a focus on clean eating but of the loveliest variety. They offer vegan and gluten free options for breakfast and lunch with a side of organic coffee and vegan desserts. All delicious and very hard to stop at just one thing or not to post on your Instagram.

Gold Coast Aquatic Center
Southport Aquatic Center is something we can all be proud of. It’s about as pretty as a cluster of swimming pools can get, and having been the home of all the Commonwealth Games water activities, it’s world class. The architecture is elegant, and there’s a training room with foam-filled pits for divers to practice in.

Where to start. There are SO many excellent spots in the Brickyard starting at Ferry Rd Market where you can snag everything from beautiful flowers to the freshest breads, seafood and fruit and veg galore. God it’s good. Within the center there are also stunning homewares, fashion and design shops, and health and beauty services. Oh, there are always some really cool events too.
