Lost Ark to add Machinist class in upcoming September update

The Machinist is the fifth Gunner Advanced Class in Lost Ark, and draws on drones, laser weapons, and other tech to burn through threats.

Lost Ark has continued a successful collaboration between Smilegate and Amazon Game Studios since its release in the West, spreading the popular free-to-play MMORPG worldwide. It helps that Smilegate continues to bring lots of new content to the game, and the fun continues in late September when the latest update brings the Machinist Advanced Class to the game. It’s a class brimming with high-tech options to blast, incinerate, and otherwise end your opposition, and it’ll be here shortly.

Amazon Game Studios went into more detail about the Machinist Advanced Class and its release date in a recent blog post on the game’s website. According to the blog, the next major update for Lost Ark is set to be released on September 28th, 2022. In this update, the main expansion of the game will be the Machinist Advanced Class. The Machinist, the fifth Advanced class in the Marksman category, is capable of using drones, laser weapons, machine guns, and other high-tech gadgets to smack his enemies with a barrage of firepower from multiple sources at once.

In addition to the launch of Machinist and to bring Machinist players up to speed with other high-level players, there will be in-game events also starting with the Lost Ark update on September 28th. By participating in these events, players will be able to level their Machinst faster and make a faster breakthrough towards endgame content and high-level threats, as well as the rewards that come with completion.
