With the country’s temperatures soaring over the Christmas weekend, Laverne Cox heated up her Instagram in a tiny Gucci swimsuit.
“It’s so cold in NYC. Trying to remember what that beach moment felt like in Anguilla,” the “Orange Is the New Black” actress, 50, captioned a flashback video of herself frolicking on the beach in a slogan-print bikini (790 $) and a matching belt bag ($1,900) from the luxury label.
“2022 has been such an amazing time for a getaway with the love of my life. #Thanks,” Cox continued.
She shared videos of what appeared to be the same tropical trip in November, celebrating her time away with the caption, “I feel like I haven’t been this relaxed in years.”
“I’ve calmed my mind this holiday in a way I haven’t been able to since before the pandemic. I pray I take this into every aspect of my life after vacation every day at a time, moment by moment,” I wrote at the time.
The star put her latest take on her Instagram Reel on Beyoncé’s song “Virgo’s Groove” — and while Cox herself is a Gemini, she was mistaken as the B-Queen at the US Open earlier this year.

“Make no mistake @Beyonce at #USOpen tonight and then trending on Twitter as the internet blabbers on mistaken identity,” the “Inventing Anna” actress joked on Instagram at the time, calling the incident “funny as hell.”
This wasn’t the “promising young” actress’s only bikini moment this year; Back in May, she celebrated her 50th birthday in a tiny Fendace two-piece.

2022 was a big year for Cox, as she also received her own Barbie, marking the first time Mattel has released a doll made in the shape of a transgender person.
In proper form, the actress honored the achievement by twinning with the history-making doll.
