iPhone 14 Pro owners report more problems with the camera

iPhone 14 bugs are piling up. Just yesterday it was reported that the The camera of the iPhone 14 Pro doesn’t work well with some third-party apps, and now a report says some buyers are encountering issues with the camera app.
Several MacRumors readers have reported that the iPhone 14 Pro’s camera app takes about four to five seconds to load once opened. The issue only occurs when you open the camera after closing it, which means it occurs when the camera app is running in the background.
Otherwise, if you manually close and then reopen the camera app, or restart the phone and then launch the camera app, you probably won’t encounter this issue. It also doesn’t happen when the app is set to video mode.

However, this doesn’t seem to be a widespread issue and doesn’t necessarily happen every time the camera app is launched. It only seems to affect iPhone 14 Pro‌ and Pro Max users. Third-party camera apps are not affected and there is no fix for them in the iOS 16.0.1 update.

Factory resetting the phones doesn’t help and even a reboot isn’t a permanent fix. One affected user suspects that this could be a RAM management issue.

The iPhone 14 Pro’s camera bug is the latest in a series of issues discovered by early adopters

Barely a week has passed since the launch of the iPhone 14 and a multitude of issues have already been reported, making this one of the most bug-riddled launches.
