The Samoyed’s love of all things Christmas is made clear for all to see in a video shared on social media by her owner.
This season is clearly going to be fun for Winter the Dog, who was pictured putting on a spectacular festive light show for their neighbors. The video, first uploaded to Reddit by Malik Winter and posted under the caption its_muri, sparked some seasonal cheer that was much appreciated on social media.
“My Samoyed loves actively looking at the Christmas lights every time we walk,” Malik Winter wrote on Reddit.
Winter can be seen in the video looking in awe from the edge of the property, which is decked out in a variety of lighted Christmas displays, including an illuminated reindeer or two.

Dogs should be having plenty of holiday cheer by December 25th. A survey of 2,000 pet owners commissioned by MetLife Insurance found that the average four-legged friend can expect to receive gifts worth an average of about $50 this year.
For now, Winter seems happy to take in and enjoy the festive, eye-catching displays around her neighborhood.
Winter said Newsweek The dog “loves Christmas and the lights in particular.”
The Samoyed currently lives in Sydney, Australia but will be heading “to the coast” this Christmas for the holidays with her owner’s partner and parents.
While Christmas lights are among her most favorite things, winter has other interests as well, according to her human companion.
“Her favorite thing to do is sniff and stomp on water like in water bowls, puddles, buckets, etc.” Its owner said, adding, “We don’t know why you did that.”

For now, though, the scene of Winter standing peacefully watching Christmas lights with the kind of startled reaction usually reserved for a kid has people talking on social media.
Bearbutts11 commented: “Samoyeds are the best! Meet Christmas you big, glorious float ball!” As Redditor Offkira writes, they don’t blame Winter for wanting a look. “I am a human being,” they said, “and if the houses were so decorated where I lived, I would stare too.”
Referring to the dog’s trance-like state, Clichysaurus commented, “The way she stares makes me think she’s gone into catnip.”
“Man,” Sparkinessedess said, “I wish I could find one of these dogs anywhere near me.”
“I would like to adopt her,” Dry-Program8805 commented, with Former_Film_7128 writing: “Man, I wish I could find one of these dogs anywhere near me.”
