In the caption, Dwayne wrote, “Our ‘BLACK ADAM’ tour was electric, fun and emotional. People cry and give me things — I was NOT surprised to have this beautiful little baby.” He continued, “Her father caught my attention because he had tears in his eyes as he held her up and gestured for me to close her keep. I honestly thought he was holding a toy doll that he wanted to give me as a gift.”

In response to the video, one user wrote, “One of the greatest videos ever,” while another commented, “Wowww!!! THIS IS SOOO AWESOME BROTHA!” and a third commented: “I’m a HUGE fan. But as a father I would never let my newborn through the hands of strangers. Like I can’t even imagine doing something like that. Or even having my baby in that environment.” A fourth user expressed concern, saying, “I get it, but that had to be terrifying, not to mention dangerous to this baby. That dad has a lot to explain when he comes home.” “It’s beautiful and also kind of sad how people idolize other people so fiercely when we’re all just people who have had different life experiences. No man is a god,” wrote another user. A sixth asked: “Why the hell are you putting a baby through all those strange hands???? Why is the baby even there??? So many questions,” wrote another irate user, “wtf why would anyone send their baby to the crowd like that!? Madness!” One user said, “I love this, but aye…don’t pass your babies around like their dolls. Also, as a father, this bugs me…but shut your head. This baby is way too young not to have someone, supporting her head and neck.”

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and starring Dwayne Johnson, Noah Centineo, Aldis Hodge, Sarah Shahi, Quintessa Swindell and Pierce Brosnan, Black Adam is slated to premiere in US cinemas on October 21, 2022. The film was originally slated for a December 2021 release, but was later pushed back to July 29, 2022 before WB and DC finally settled on a fall release. In the 2019 spin-off and sequel to Shazam, the Hercules star plays a superhero who rivals the powers of the Man of Steel, but there’s a big difference when it comes to morals. According to the WB, the official synopsis states: “From New Line Cinema, Dwayne Johnson stars as the lead in the action-adventure ‘Black Adam.’ Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (“Jungle Cruise”), the first-ever feature film to explore the history of the DC superhero comes to the big screen nearly 5,000 years after it was bestowed with the omnipotent powers of the Old Gods – and just as quickly imprisoned – Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly grave and ready to unleash his unique brand of justice on the modern world.”
