HARTFORD, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#IoT–HSB Internet of Things (IoT) customers can monitor their property and equipment 24/7 from anywhere with a new, more powerful Meshify Protect™ mobile app for homes and commercial facilities, the company announced today.
Meshify Protect is HSB’s next-generation mobile app that simplifies sensor activation, tracks site status, and provides actionable alerts on water leaks, frozen pipes, temperature extremes, equipment failures, and other potentially harmful conditions.
The new app was developed by Meshify, HSB’s IoT technology subsidiary, and will be available on the Apple App Store and Google Play this fall.
“Adding a sensor to your property is not enough,” said John Riggs, chief technology officer of HSB, part of Munich Re, and senior vice president of HSB Applied Technology Solutions. “You have to place the sensor in the right place and act immediately when an alarm occurs. Practical execution combined with a compelling user experience saves property and provides peace of mind. The new Meshify Protect app makes it easier than ever to connect and protect homes and businesses, even when you’re not there.”
A seamless app transition for HSB IoT customers
Meshify Protect is a complete re-creation of HSB’s mobile app experience, providing a seamless transition of existing customer account information and sensor management details.
The new app offers easy-to-follow installation instructions, low-signal support, advanced charts and snapshot views, and easy account management, including biometric login and customizable notification settings.
