Steps to install Active Directory Users and Computers
Installing ADUC for Windows 10 version 1809 and later
Step 1: Open Windows Settings and go to Apps.
step 2: Click the hyperlink on the right labeled Manage Optional Features and then click the Add Feature button.
step 3: Select RSAT: Active Directory Domain Services and Lightweight Directory Tools.
step 4: Click Install.
step 5: When the installation is complete, a new menu item called Windows Management appears on the Start menu.
Installing ADUC for Windows 8 and Windows 10 version 1803 and below
Step 1: Download and install the Remote Server Administrator Tools depending on your Windows version.
step 2: Click the Start button and select Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off.
step 3: Scroll down the list and expand Remote Server Administration Tools.
step 4: Expand role management tools.
step 5: Expand AD DS and AD LDS Tools.
step 6: Check the AD DS tools and then select OK.
step 7Note: After the installation is complete, there is an administration folder in the start menu. ADUC should be included in this list.
