Google Pixel Watch colour and price leaks online ahead of October 6 launch

Tech giant Google is expected to launch Pixel Watch on October 6 alongside the launch of the Pixel 7 phone. Days before launch, the alleged design and price of the upcoming smartwatch’s WiFi variant has surfaced online. According to a report by 9to5Google, the Google Pixel Watch price starts at $349.99 (approx 28,000) for the Wi-Fi model. The mobile version, on the other hand, is said to cost 399 US dollars (approx 31,900).

The report also reveals the alleged color variant of both models. The WiFi-only variant of the Google Pixel Watch comes in Black/Obsidian, Gold/Hazel, and Silver/Chalk color options. While the cellular model will be available in Black/Obsidian, Silver/Charcoal, and Gold/Hazel color variants.

Google has already announced the “Made by Google” event for October 6th at 7:30 p.m. At the event, the company is expected to unveil its Pixel 7 series along with its first Pixel smartwatch. The Pixel Watch is said to be available from November 7th.

Google Pixel Watch expected specifications

Announced at this year’s Google I/O event, Google Pixel Watch will run on the latest version of Google Wear OS. According to teaser images, the smartwatch will have a circular face with minimal bezels around the display. The device is said to have stainless steel construction and may come with a curved glass protector.

Google’s upcoming smartwatch will come with features like support for Google Wallet, Google Maps, and Google Assistant. The smartwatch’s health features include heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and more. The device is said to be compatible with the Find My Device app.

Meanwhile, Google is running a whimsical marketing campaign in Japan. The company is selling potato chips to select customers to promote its upcoming Pixel 7 series. As shared in a Twitter post, the tech giant offers Google potato chips in four flavors: snow cheese in white wrapper, hazelnut onion in dark sage wrapper, salty lemon in yellow wrapper, and obsidian pepper in black wrapper. Those colors and names of the chips are reportedly similar to the colors of the Pixel 7 phone.
