Anthony Hitt, President and CEO of Engel & Völkers Americas, said in a statement that lifestyle is a key driver for Americans deciding to relocate to new areas. Engel & Völkers plans to capitalize on the market by catering to those in search of “luxurious Gulf Coast living”.

“It’s not surprising that Gulf Shores continues to show significant growth in the state of Alabama, attracting residents from across the state because of its growing economy, comparatively low cost of living and, of course, white sandy beaches and coastal lifestyle,” said Hitt.

The Engel & Völkers statement notes that there are two distinct components of the Gulf Coast real estate market: primary residences in Baldwin County and vacation homes and condos along the beaches and waterways. The holiday homes in this area often serve a dual purpose of holiday and investment properties.

“As part of Engel & Völkers, we look forward to introducing a new Gulf Coast buyer, seller, owner and renter experience focused on professionalism, expertise and commitment to customer service, supported by a global network of like-minded professionals ‘ Harris said.
