Driven by the COVID-19 lockdown, leading in Harnett County and Camp Agape were looking for ways to provide quality Internet access to their underserved residents. CloudWyze was tapped to make the project a reality.

CloudWyze is in the process of deploying the first phase of Harnett County fixed wireless network with services going live and customer installations expected by October 2022. In addition, the second phase for use throughout South Harnett County is currently under development.
As an early supporter of the EBBP/ACP programs, CloudWyze participates in the Affordable Connective Program, which provides $30 Discounts on monthly internet service bills. The organization also won a 4 million dollars Fiber optic connectivity grant for the south Harnett County as part of the GREAT Grant program 2022.

Harnett County Manager Brent trout spoke about how the partnership with CloudWyze will expand broadband access for county residents.
