WASHINGTON, DC,- The future of advanced fighter pilot training jumps into the virtual world as Boeing [NYSE: BA] and augmented reality developer Red 6 announced they are collaborating to develop cutting-edge technology for air combat and training in advanced tactical aircraft. Boeing is the first company to partner with Red 6 on this type of advanced training technology.
The joint agreement sets the stage for future integration of Red 6’s Advanced Tactical Augmented Reality System (ATARS) and the Augmented Reality Command and Analytic Data Environment (ARCADE). Boeing Next generation aircraft manufactured. The T-7 and F-15EX platforms could be among the first to receive ATARS and ARCADE.
The system allows pilots to see and interact with augmented reality aircraft, targets and threats on the ground or in the air while flying and training in their actual aircraft, eliminating the cost and need for multiple platforms and “real-world -Training” reduces exercises.’

According to Red 6, ATARS enables a variety of tactical training scenarios provided by augmented reality. These include air combat maneuvers, refueling, tactical formation, and ground-to-air gun battles. ARCADE increases the efficiency of mission planning, briefing and debriefing with real-time 3D visualizations for mission engineering and reconstruction.
