Elon Musk reinstated Donald Trump’s Twitter account after showing the decision to a poll on the microblogging site. “People have spoken. Trump will be reinstated,” Musk wrote on Twitter, shortly after the 24-hour Twitter poll ended on his account. More than 15 million people – of Twitter’s 237 million daily users – voted in the poll. While 51.8% voted in favor of Trump’s recalculation, 48.2% voted against.
Now, after the former US president’s account appeared on Twitter, netizens began flooding the social networking site with hilarious memes, comments and random polls mocking Musk. In one poll, a Twitter user asked if Mr. Musk should sell Twitter. In another survey, the user asked if the new Twitter owner should be banned from the platform.

If Elon Musk decides whether to bring Trump back based on a Twitter poll, should he stick to the results of a similar poll with regard to blocking his operational control of Twitter.

Donald Trump had more than 88 million users when his account was suspended. Previously, he had stated that he would not return to the popular platform but would instead stay on his own network, Truth Social, which was launched after he was banned from Twitter.
Appearing via video clip at a Republican Jewish Alliance rally in Las Vegas, Trump said he welcomed Musk’s poll, and was a fan of the man himself, but appeared to reject any return. “I love him…you know, he’s a character and again, I love the characters,” he said, adding, “He did a poll and it was so overwhelming…but I have something called…the social truth.”
On whether he will return to the podium, he said: “I don’t see it because I don’t see any reason for that.”
